Complexity and Social Trust:A study of Niklas Luhmann's Thought
摘要
Abstract
Trust is an essential social relationship for the mankind in times of individualization,yet we can never eliminate the action of mistrust or distrust in such times,thus many modern social institutions are constructed in order to ensure the coexistence of people and maintain the fundamental social trust.However,social trust is still very fragile in times of indi-vidualization because it is compelled to face the challenge of double contingencies.Niklas Luhmann admits the complexities and the self-reference systems of society,confronting and disposing the constantly generated probabilities by means of re-duction,thus social trust can be realized in modern society.关键词
