Abstract

Vertical line measurement technology has been widely used in dam horizontal displacement monitoring because of its simplicity and effectiveness.However,facing the high humidity and high dust monitoring environment,traditional monitoring meth-ods have certain limitations.Therefore,a method of dam horizontal displacement monitoring based on magnetic flux measurement was proposed.In this method,based on the principle that magnetic flux is not affected by non-ferromagnetic medium,taking mag-netic flux as medium,the displacement change was converted into the voltage change of magnetic sensor by constructing appropri-ate magnetic circuit.According to the actual demand,a differential flux measurement sensor was designed to weaken the influence of background magnetic field,and the data fitting method of iterative calibration was used to improve the fitting accuracy.Com-bined with theoretical analysis and laboratory test,a magnetic flux measurement vertical coordinate instrument suitable for high hu-midity and high dust environment,with an accuracy of 0.1 mm,was developed,and then was used in Baihetan Hydropower Sta-tion.The experimental and field application results showed that the method of dam horizontal displacement monitoring based on magnetic flux measurement was feasible,and the magnetic flux measurement vertical coordinate instrument is in good operation at the site of hydropower stations.
