安康市枫杨属天然种群垂直分布规律调查研究
Investigation on Natural Vertical Distribution of Pterocarya in Ankang
摘要
Abstract
From 2020 to 2022,a comprehensive survey was conducted in Ankang City,combining fixed-point investigations with a general census of ancient and famous Pterocarya trees,to investigate and document the species,biological characteristics,vertical distribution patterns,riverbank proximity distribution patterns,and habitat features of the natural Pterocarya populations.The results showed that two Pterocarya species were distributed in Ankang:Pterocarya stenoptera and Pterocarya hupe-hensis.This finding aligns with their similar ecological,structural,and behavioral characteristics.The most notable morphological difference between the two is that Pterocarya stenoptera possesses odd-pinnate compound leaves,whereas Pterocarya hupehensis predominantly has even-pinnate compound leaves.Furthermore,by accessing the Shaanxi Provincial Ancient Tree Register System,47 ancient Pterocarya trees in Ankang were identified,and 20 survey plots were established along the banks of three rivers-the Lan River,Wenshui River,and Yue River.The data indicated that the pri-mary vertical distribution zone of natural Pterocarya populations in Ankang is between 250 and 800 meters above sea level,with virtually no distribution above 1000 m along riverbanks or in mountain-ous areas.The average distribution altitude is 600 m with a maximum of 1000 m.Conversely,Ptero-carya hupehensis is found at higher altitudes above 1000 m,suggesting a higher altitudinal distribu-tion than Pterocarya stenoptera within Ankang's territory.Additionally,natural Pterocarya forests tend to thrive in suitable riverbank habitats,such as riverbank floodplains or mountain valleys,on sunny or semi-sunny slopes within 10 meters of the riverbank.This preference aligns with their in-herent biological and forestry characteristics-a fondness for moisture.In terms of resource distribu-tion,Pterocarya species in our city are primarily scattered,growing near houses,along rivers,and on riverbanks,with accompanying plants including black locust,weeping willow,Chinese toon,paper mulberry,bamboo,and miscellaneous shrubs.关键词
