Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of low-dose Dexmedetomidine on tourniquet reaction in female patients with upper limb fracture surgery.Methods A total of 60 female patients with upper limb fracture surgery admitted to Guangzhou Orthopedic Hospital from June to November 2023 were selected as the study objects.All the patients were divided into the study group and the control group by the random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The two groups underwent brachial plexus block through the interscalene approach under the guidance of ultrasound.The study group started to inject low-dose Dexmedetomidine 10 minutes before the block,and the control group started to inject the same volume of normal saline 10 minutes before the block.The pain scores,heart rate(HR)and mean arterial pressure(MAP),and incidence of adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.Results The score of visual analogue scale at 30 minutes after using the tourniquet in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The HR and MAP at 10 and 30 minutes after using the tourniquet in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There were no adverse reactions such as puncture point infection,hematoma,and respiratory depression occurred within 48 hours after block in both groups.Conclusion Intravenous infusion of low-doses Dexmedetomidine can reduce tourniquet reaction in female patients undergoing upper limb fracture surgery.关键词
