噬菌体在关节假体感染防治中的应用与研究进展
Application and research progress of bacteriophage in prevention and treatment of periprosthetic joint infection
摘要
Abstract
Periprosthetic joint infection(PJI)is one of the most common complications after total joint replacement.It is difficult to manage,has severe morbidity and mortality,and places a heavy economic burden on the health care system.The formation of bacte-rial biofilms makes PJI treatment more challenging,and the presence of biofilms creates a barrier for pathogenic bacteria to resist anti-biotics and host immune responses.Bacteriophages,as viruses that lyse bacteria,have attracted much attention due to their potential to treat drug-resistant bacterial infections.Despite the promise of phage therapy(PT),its efficacy in the management of PJI is unclear.Much of the current literature is largely confined to case reports and series.Based on relevant case reports,this article discusses the application status,efficacy,shortcomings and application prospects of PT in the treatment of PJI,so as to provide a new approach for the treatment of PJI.关键词
