The Application and Regulatory Status of Polyphenols in Cosmetics
摘要
Abstract
Polyphenols,primarily derived from plant extracts,are known for their antioxidant,whitening,and sunscreen properties,making them safe and widely applicable natural ingredients in cosmetics.This paper reviews the application status of polyphenols in cosmetics and their common efficacy evaluation methods.It also expounds on the regulatory status of polyphenols in cosmetics in China and abroad,summarizing the detection standards for prohibited polyphenols in cosmetics in China.The aim is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the application and regulatory status of polyphenols in cosmetics,to promote their development and utilization,and to ensure the safety of cosmetics products for the public.关键词
