Common problems in the management of cervi-cal gonorrhea
摘要
Abstract
Gonorrhea is caused by Neisseria gonor-rhoeae,which mainly infects the cervix in women and is usually asymptomatic.The diagnosis is always de-tected by positive bacterial culture and nucleic acid test.The most formidable challenge in the treatment of Neisseria gonorrhoeae infection is treatment failure caused by antimicrobial resistance.With the increasing number of strains resistant to the first-line drug cef-triaxone,it is urgent to find and evaluate new treatment options.Women with cervical gonorrhea and their sexual partner should be treated at the same time to prevent further transmission.关键词
