摘要

Abstract

Pig production is an important source of carbon emissions,and China is a major country in pig production.Scientifically accounting for the carbon emissions across the entire pig production chain,investigating the progress of carbon emission accounting in different regions,and studying carbon-mitigation technologies are of significant importance for China to build a low-carbon pig industry.This article reviews the assessment methods for carbon emission accounting in pig production both domestically and internationally,analyzes the application scenarios and limitations of different methods.At the same time,it sorts out the current status of carbon emissions in pig production domestically and internationally,and analyzes the reasons for the differences in accounting results.Finally,it deciphers the effects of carbon-mitigation technologies in feed production and manure management in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions,aiming to provide a reference for carbon-mitigation across the entire pig production chain.
