Research Progress on the Application of Black Soldier Fly Larvae in Pig Production
摘要
Abstract
Black soldier fly larvae(BSFL)are rich in fat,protein,high-quality amino acids,minerals and other nutrients,which are good sources of protein.It can be used in pig diets instead of protein feed ingredients such as soybean meal and fish meal.In addition,bioactive substances such as antimicrobial peptides(AMPs)and chitin derived from BSFL can inhibit the proliferation of harmful bacteria and play a positive role in pig growth performance and intestinal health.In addition,black soldier fly larvae can also convert organic waste pig manure into high value-added products,which has the advantages of easy feeding,rapid growth and high conversion efficiency.Therefore,it has attracted wide attention in the pig industry.Based on the above characteristics,this paper reviewed the nutritional value and the main nutritional components of black soldier fly larvae reared in different substrates,the effects of black soldier fly larvae on pig growth performance and intestinal health,and the application of biotransformation of pig manure,in order to provide reference for the application of black soldier fly in pig production and breeding.关键词
