Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of doxycycline combined with hydroxychloroquine sulfate in the treatment of rosacea.Methods A total of 70 patients with rosacea treated in Heshan Hospital of Chinese Medicine from February 2023 to May 2024 were selected,they were divided into control group(n=31)and combination group(n=39)according to different treatment methods.The patients in control group receiving fusidic acid cream combined with doxycycline orally,the combination group received topical fusidic acid cream combined with doxycycline and hydroxychloroquine orally.The therapeutic effect and improvement of skin lesion symptoms(erythema,papule,pustule,pruritus,telangiectasia)were observed in the two groups.The occurrence of adverse reactions(nausea,dizziness,headache,facial tingling and flushing)during treatment was recorded in the two groups.Results After treatment,the facial skin lesion symptom scores in the combination group were lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The effective rate of the combined treatment group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).During the treatment period,there was no statistically significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).Conclusions Fusidic acid cream and doxycycline combined with hydroxychloroquine sulfate can effectively improve the symptoms of skin lesions in rosacea patients,with significant efficacy and high safety.关键词
