Abstract
Objective To analyze the efficacy of Ceramage polymer ceramic high inlay in repairing dental defects and its impact on patients'quality of life.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 74 cases of dental defects admitted to the Department of Stomatology of Yong'an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from December 2022 to December 2023.Among them,37 patients treated with metal inlay restoration were included in the control group,and 37 patients treated with Ceramage polymer ceramic high inlay restoration were included in the observation group.The plaque index and gingival index before and after restoration,complications after restoration,chewing function and language function before and after restoration were compared between the two groups.Results After restoration,the plaque index of the observation group(0.84±0.18)scores was lower than that of the control group(0.98±0.24)scores,with statistically significant differences(t=2.839,P=0.006);gingival index in the observation group(0.75±0.14)scores,lower than that in the control group(0.90±0.19)scores,with statistically significant differences(t=3.866,P=0.001).There was 1 case of infection(2.70%)and 1 case of impaction(2.70%)in the observation group.There were 2 cases of infection(5.41%),3 cases of impaction(8.11%),and 1 case of detachment(2.70%)in the control group The incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.41%,which was lower than the control group's 16.22%,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.058,P=0.014).After one year of repair,the chewing function score of the observation group(9.28±2.35)was higher than that of the control group(8.04±1.63),and the difference was statistically significant(t=2.637,P=0.010);the language function score of the observation group(9.09±1.94)was higher than that of the control group(8.18±1.71),the difference was statistically significant(t=2.140,P=0.036).Conclusions Ceramage polymer porcelain high inlay restoration of dental defects has significant therapeutic effects,fewer complications,can improve chewing and language function,and achieve the goal of improving quality of life.The prognosis is good and it is a practical and effective method for repairing dental defects,which is worth promoting and applying.关键词
