Practices of hydrology in intelligent management of capacity of the Three Gorges Reservoir and considerations

Abstract
Advancing intelligent technology for managing capacity of reservoirs is an important link for enhancing the level of precise,informationalized and modernized reservoir operation and management.Key issues related to intelligent management of reservoir capacity are analyzed,including operation data perception,operation management informatization,multi-purpose scheduling and capacity maintenance.Key perception technology for intelligent management of capacity of the Three Gorges Reservoir is proposed.Achievements and benefits of hydrology technology application to the Yangtze River for intelligent management of the capacity of the Three Gorges Reservoir are summarized from the aspects of flood forecasting and management,sediment reduction and scheduling,capacity calculation and management,with typical cases of"comprehensive scheduling of dam projects in the Yangtze River Basin"and"Yangtze River hydrology capacity calculation management system".The focus of next step work is also discussed.关键词
