摘要

Abstract

Based on on-site investigations,geological surveys,and settlement monitoring reports,this article analyzes the reasons for the cracks on the top of the Dongguan Embankment Liaobu section(pile numbers 14+230~15+030).It is believed that the internal causes of the cracks in the embankment are weak soil layers in the foundation and uneven hardness of the new and old roadbeds,as well as factors such as the increase in traffic volume,the alternating effect of internal and external river flows,the dredging project of the Dongyin Canal,and poor road drainage.At the same time,based on the above reasons,targeted risk elimination and reinforcement designs are proposed for reference in similar engineering reinforcement designs.
