Abstract
In response to the long life and large pulse power supply requirements of the SAR satel-lite lithium battery,a charging algorithm on sequential switching shunt regulator(S4R)charging system for the SAR satellite is designed in this paper.By utilizing the electricity consumption of the payload unit during the current cycle of illumination,the charging rate of the lithium battery is adjusted in real time to complete the lithium battery intelligent charging within a limited time.It breaks through the traditional constant current-constant voltage charging method and reduces the polarization effect and the probability of lithium dendrite formation during the charging process,extending the in orbit life of lithium battery.The analysis of the telemetry data down-loaded from the SAR satellite shows that the charging algorithm has realized the intelligent char-ging of lithium battery and can provide a reference for charging and discharging system of lithium battery for subsequent satellites with long life requirements and large pulse loads in the future.关键词
