Syndrome differentiation and treatment strategies for diseases characterized by lower-jiao accumulation

Abstract
Medical practitioners have developed various etiological theories regarding the accumulation syndrome in the lower energizer,having proposed diverse treatment philosophies based on the different stages of disease progressions and patients'constitutions.In its initial stage,which is characterized by a cold syndrome,the treatment strategy involves promoting the flow of qi,unblocking collaterals,eliminating phlegm and stasis,regulating cold and heat,resolving evil qi,detoxifying,regulating blood,and dispersing solid masses by using pungent and warm medicinal substances to facilitate digestion.If the accumulation turns into heat over time,pungent and cool medicines are used to expel it,while also invigorating stomach qi,safeguarding genuine yin,and employing tactics of attacking,dissolving,supplementing,and dispersing according to specific situations.In cases where an accumulation disorder just occurs and the vital energy is not yet harmed,it is critical to address the accumulation urgently and to seek a swift efficacy.Conversely,if the accumulation has long harmed the primordial qi,the focus should be on restoring vital energy and employing gentler methods.In clinical practice,therapeutic strategies and approaches are devised in accordance with progression stages,to achieve the goals of strengthening and consolidating the body resistance and expelling pathogenic factors.关键词
