益气固本胶囊治疗儿童哮喘缓解期肺脾气虚证
Clinical efficacy of Yiqi Guben Capsules in the treatment of children with asthma in remission with a lung-spleen qi deficiency syndrome

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Yiqi Guben Capsules in the treatment of children with asthma in remission with a syndrome of qi deficiency of the lung and spleen.Methods A total of 200 children were randomly divided into two groups,the treatment group and the control group,with 100 cases in each group.The treatment group was given Yiqi Guben Capsules orally,while the control group was given Baoerning Granules orally,both for 3 months.After treatment,the improvement of TCM syndromes(shortness of breath and sweating,pale or yellowish complexions,fatigue and lazy speech,anorexia and loose stools,pale tongue,white coatings,slow pulse)was observed.The changes in the serum eosinophilic inflammation and immune-related indexes(EOS,IgA,IgE and IgG contents),nitric oxide(FeNO,nNO)concentrations in exhaled breath and lung function(PEF diurnal variability,FEV1/FVC)were examined in the laboratory.The follow-up in them was conducted for one year,and the number of asthma episodes and recurrent respiratory tract infections was observed within one year.Results After 3 months of treatment,the TCM syndromes(shortness of breath and sweating,pale or yellowish complexions,fatigue and lazy speech,anorexia and loose stools,pale tongue,white coatings,slow pulse)were significantly improved in children in the treatment group.Laboratory tests showed a significant change in the serum eosinophilic inflammation and immune related indicators(EOS,IgA,IgE,and IgG contents),nitric oxide(FeNO,nNO)concentrations in exhaled breath,and lung function(PEF diurnal variability rate,FEV1/FVC)in children in the treatment group,compared to before treatment(P＜0.05).Within one year after treatment,the total effective rate was 90.00％in children in the treatment group,and the number of asthma attacks was significantly reduced,with a statistically significant difference compared with before treatment(P＜0.05).Within one year after treatment,the number of recurrent respiratory tract infections was significantly reduced in the treatment group,with a statistically significant difference compared to before treatment(P＜0.05).Conclusion Yiqi Guben Capsules is an effective drug for the treatment of asthma in children,which can improve the lung-spleen qi deficiency syndrome,reduce eosinophil inflammations,regulate immune function,and improve lung function in children with asthma in the short term,and can control repeated asthma attacks in them in the long term,and can reduce the incidence of respiratory diseases,such as pneumonia.关键词
