摘要

Abstract

Transmission towers are typical wind-sensitive structures,vulnerable to extremely strong winds of the downburst,frequently resulting in wind damage faults such as the collapse of towers and damage of transmission lines.It causes huge economic losses.In order to analyze the collapse and destruction of the transmission tower under the downburst,this paper adopted the measured meteorological data from a downburst accident in the Ma'anshan area,and took a sheep-horn tangent tower with overall collapse in the accident as an example.The finite element model of"one tower and two lines"was established to analyze the wind-induced dynamic response of the sheep-horn tangent tower under wind angles of 0°,45°,60°and 90° of downburst,and to explore the mechanical characteristics,weak position and failure mechanism of sheep-horn tangent tower-line system under the different wind angles of downburst.The research results show that the wind angle of 90° of downburst is the worst condition for tangent tower-line system,and this is the main reason for its collapse.Under the downburst,the collapse and failure is caused by the instability of tower legs and inclined materials,so the tower legs should be strengthened in the design of anti-downburst.
