On the Classical Poetry in Zong Pu's Epic Series"Wild Gourd Overture"(野葫芦引)

Abstract
In the series of novels"Wild Gourd Overture"(野葫芦引),Zong Pu meticulously created a total of eleven scattered lyric poems,including"Overture","Interlude"and"Finale".They are full of deep and strong patriotism,indicating the development of the plot,and also embodying the author's contemporary position and her rational thinking on the cultural personality and national spirit of intellectuals.The lyrical style of classical poetry complements the plot of the main text,demonstrating a reliable narrative perspective that blends emotions and reasoning.The excerpts and compositions of classical poetry within the novel are intricately aligned with the personalities and psychological traits of the characters.They significantly integrate into character actions,vividly shaping their images and establishing intertextual connections with the main plot.This integration enhances the textual depth by amplifying internal tensions within the narrative.Zong Pu adheres to an artistic pursuit characterized by sincerity and elegance,employing classical poetry to advance or subtly suggest plot developments,engage in character actions,evoke atmosphere,cultivate artistic conception,and convey messages with a concise and refined style.The epic series of"Wild Gourd Overture"(野葫芦引)incorporate classical lyrical traditions into contemporary novel narratives,providing a new possibility for the fusion of modern and traditional elements in contemporary writing.关键词
