数字经济发展对居民消费的影响与路径分析
The Impact of Growth of Digital Economy on Household Consumption and Its Pathway

Abstract
In recent years,household consumption has increasingly played a pivotal role in driving economic growth,making it imperative to explore how the digital economy can effectively stimulate consumer potential.Analyzing micro-panel data from the China Family Panel Studies spanning 2014 to 2018 reveals a significant positive correlation between digital economy development and household consumption.Both the endogenous test and the robustness test of the benchmark regression results support the above conclusion.Heterogeneity analysis further indicates that the impact of digital economy development is stronger on urban than rural household consumption,particularly affecting residents in the eastern and central regions and influencing expenditures on clothing,food,and footwear.Mechanism analysis underscores that alleviating liquidity constraints and augmenting resident incomes constitute pivotal pathways through which digital economy development influences household consumption.Finally,the study synthesizes its findings and discusses their implications.关键词
