乳化油覆盖海面的后向电磁散射特性研究
Study on the Property of Microwave and Terahertz Wave Scattering from Emulsified Oil-Covered Sea Surface

Abstract
In this paper,the backscattering model of the emulsified oil-covered sea surface is estab-lished using the geometric optics(GO)approach,combined with the improved model of local balance and based on the simplified reflection coefficient for double-layer rough surface.Based on this scattering model,the backscattering characteristics of the emulsified oil-covered sea surface are investigated at small incidence angles,and the variation of the backscattering coefficient with frequency and oil slick thickness at different water contents,as well as the sensitivity of the scattering coefficient to the water content,are discussed.As the result shows,in the microwave band,similar to non-emulsified oil,the backscattering coefficient of emulsified oil-covered sea surface is insensitive to the oil thickness.In the THz band,the scattering coefficient oscillates with oil slick thickness and frequency for oil emulsion with small water content,and when the frequency increases,the amplitude of scattering coefficient os-cillation decreases.The oscillation amplitude of the scattering coefficient with oil thickness and frequency also decreases gradually when the water content increases.In the microwave and THz bands,for high-frequency waves,the scattering coefficient is sensitive to water content only for emulsified oil with low water content;For low-frequency waves,the scattering coefficient is also sensitive to water content for emulsified oil with high water content.关键词
