Abstract
To investigate the application of Picea abies leaf extract in oily skin care,this paper studied in vitro oil control and anti-inflammatory activities.The results showed that Picea abies leaf extract significantly reduced lipid secretion by sebaceous glands compared to the model group(p<0.05)in a dose-dependent manner.Additionally,10%concentration of Picea abies leaf extract significantly decreased nitric oxide(NO)content(p<0.05).An emulsion containing 2.5%Picea abies leaf extract was then prepared and tested on 30 volunteers with oily skin over a period of 14 days.Measurements of sebum content,skin gloss,and brightness were taken before and after the treatment.The findings indicated a significant decrease in skin sebum(p<0.05)and a significant increase in skin gloss and brightness(p<0.05)after 14 days of use.These results suggest that the Picea abies leaf extract effectively controls facial sebum secretion by inhibiting lipid production in sebaceous gland cells and through its anti-inflammatory effect.关键词
