The Relationship Between Alienation of Tutor-Graduate Relationship and Graduate Students'Innovation Behavior:The Mediating Role of Fear of Tutors'Negative Evaluation and Graduate Students'Mental Health and the Moderating Role of Tutors'Gender

Abstract
In order to investigate tutor-graduate relationship,fear of negative evaluation of mentors,mental health and mentor gender on scientific research innovation behavior,548 graduate students from several universities in Sichuan were investigated.The results showed that:(1)the alienation of tutor-graduate relationship negatively predicted mental health,and positively predicted the fear of negative evaluation;(2)The alienation of tutor-graduate relationship predicts innovative behavior through the fear of tutors'negative evaluation and the mental health of graduate students as a chain of multiple mediations;(3)The gender of graduate tutors has a significant moderating effect.Compared with the alienation of the relationship between graduate students and male tutors,the alienation of the relationship between female tutors has a greater influence on the fear of negative evaluation of graduate students,that is,the path coefficient of the fear of negative evaluation of female tutors is significantly higher than that of male tutors,while the gender of graduate students has no significant moderating effect on the model.This study reveals the influence of alienation of tutor-graduate relationship on mental health and graduate students'innovative behavior,thus providing some references for the construction of graduate education management in universities.关键词
