摘要
Abstract
Alzheimer disease(AD)and diabetes mellitus type 2(T2DM)are two major global chronic health is-sues,with strong association in oxidative stress,glucose and lipid metabolism,and insulin resistance.This article reviews the research advances in the pathogenesis and intervention of AD and T2DM.It has been found that the two diseases not only share similar processes in hippocampal atrophy and amyloid deposition,but also have common molecular mechanisms in oxidative stress,glucose and lipid metabolism,and insulin resistance.The intervention strategies for both conditions were compared to provide clues for revealing related mechanisms and developing related drugs.关键词
