Research advances in the mechanism of action of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation in improving cogni-tive impairment in patients with Alzheimer disease
摘要
Abstract
Alzheimer disease(AD)is a common neurodegenerative disease with overall cognitive deterioration and mental and behavioral disorders,and due to unknown etiology and pathogenesis of AD,there is currently no effective medi-cation for AD.As a new noninvasive neuromodulation method,repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)can improve cognitive impairment in patients with AD by regulating multiple pathways such as neural activity,synaptic plastic-ity,neurotransmitters,and neurotrophic factors.This article reviews the studies on the mechanism of action of rTMS in the treatment of AD in recent years,in order to clarify the mechanisms of rTMS such as anti-oxidation and regulation of synaptic plasticity.关键词
