犬实验性感染乙脑病毒的研究
Experimental Infection of Japanese Encephalitis Virus in Dogs

Abstract
To investigate the immune response and clinical signs of Japanese encephalitis virus(JEV).3-month-old Beagle dogs were experimentally infected with a virulent JEV GZ strain from Guizhou and an attenuated SA14-14-2 strain.The serum samples were examined for changes of immunoglobulin M(IgM),immunoglobulin G(IgG),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interferon-γ(IFN-γ)levels and T lymphocyte subsets CD4+/CD8+T lymphocytes cells.Dogs did not show clinical signs post infection with the virulent and attenuated JEV strains.The serum levels of IgM,IgG,TNF-α and IFN-γ and CD4+/CD8+ratio increased.No virus was detected in blood samples by RT-PCR and also no obvious lesions were found in tissue sections.In summary,dogs infected with the virulent and attenuated JEV strains produced immune responses without clinical signs and viremia.Therefore,as companion animals live in close proximity to humans,dogs were very suitable as sentinel animals for assessing the risk of JEV infection.关键词
