Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of minocycline and cefoxitin on the diameter of inflammatory mass and the depth of pelvic effusion in patients with acute pelvic inflammatory disease.Methods Eighty-seven patients with acute pelvic inflammatory disease treated in Maojian District People's Hospital of Shiyan City from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into observation group(n=44)and control group(n=43)according to random number table method.The control group was treated with cefoxitin sodium,and the observation group was treated with minocycline on the basis of the control group.The depth of pelvic effusion,the diameter of inflammatory mass,the level of inflammatory factors and the therapeutic effect of the two groups were compared.Results Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the depth of pelvic effusion and diameter of inflammatory mass between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).After treatment,the depth of pelvic effusion and diameter of inflammatory mass in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)levels between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the levels of CRP,IL-6 and TNF-α in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Treatment with minocycline and cefoxitin sodium in patients with acute pelvic inflammatory disease is effective,which can reduce inflammatory response,reduce the depth of pelvic effusion and reduce the diameter of inflammatory mass.关键词
