摘要

Abstract

Objective To explore the potential application of lactophenol cotton blue(LPCB)staining method in identification of airborne pollen under microscope.Methods The major airborne pollens of spring and autumn in Weifang City was identified by using basic fuchsin(BF)staining and LPCB staining and results of daily pollen count were recorded.Results The results of this study demonstrated that LPCB staining showed obvious advantages in identification of Broussonetia papyrifera,Platanus,Artemisia,Amaranthacae and Gra-mineae pollens,compared with BF staining.However,it showed disadvantage in identification of CUPRESSACEAE pollen.In addition,the major airborne pollens of summer and autumn have not significant difference within last 40 years in Weifang.Due to alternation of planting tree species,Platanus pollen has be-come the major allergenic pollen in spring.Conclusion LPCB staining can be used for identification of fungi and airborne pollens concurrently,which may ensure accuracy of identification as well as saving time costs.
