安徽明清时期地震时空分布规律的定量研究
A quantitative study of temporal-spatial distribution of earthquakes in Anhui Province during the Ming and Qing Dynasties

Abstract
Based on historical records of earthquakes in Anhui Province,this paper quantitatively discusses the temporal-spatial distribution of the quakes in the high-frequency period(i.e.,Ming and Qing Dynasties)in the history of the province from the perspective of geography. The results show that earthquakes became more and more frequent in the middle and late Ming Dynasty,forming 3 peaks in the periods of 1491—1510 A.D.,1531—1550 A.D. and 1631—1650 A.D.,and 2 peaks occurred in the periods of 1751—1770 A.D. and 1851—1870 A.D. in the Qing Dynasty. Comparatively,the highest peak took place in the period of 1631—1650 A. D.,the transitional time from Ming to Qing. The spatial distribution of the earthquakes shows a law of their occurrences decreasing both northward and southward from central Anhui. Regionally,earthquakes have occurred in all the cities and counties of Anhui Province except in Huaibei City. Earthquakes have occurred in 100% counties in Anqing,Chuzhou,Hefei,Xuancheng,Suzhou,Chizhou,Ma 'anshan,Tongling and Huangshan. The frequency of earthquakes in middle Anhui is obviously higher than that in north and south Anhui. On the whole,the annual average number of counties reporting earthquakes is relatively high in mountainous areas in the southwest of Anhui,plain areas along the Yangtze River and northeastern areas,indicating that these areas have a high frequency of earthquakes in a wide range. Judging from the geographic locations of the areas with higher earthquake occurrences counted in years,the cities of Chuzhou,Anqing,Lu'an and Hefei are located in central Anhui Province near the Tan-Lu fault zone. In contrast,the cities far from the fault zone have lower earthquake occurrences counted in years,such as Huaibei,Huainan,Huangshan and Bozhou. In addition,the Xuancheng area is located in the Tongling-Ningguo tectonic deformation zone with a relatively high number of years of earthquakes,indicating that the frequency of occurrences of the earthquakes relates to geological structures to a degree.关键词
