Abstract

In order to explore the ridging height suitable for high-yield cultivation of pepper in Zunyi area,this experiment took Qianla No. 10 pepper as the experimental material,and set 4 different ridging heights for planting pepper in Jinhua Town of Fenggang County,and analyzed the effects of different ridging heights on the growth period,plant characters,fruit characters,yield characters and disease resistance of peppers. The results showed that when the ridging height was 30 cm,the comprehensive performance of pepper was the best. When the ridging height was 0 cm (flat planting),the comprehensive performance of pepper was the worst. When the ridging height was 30 cm,the growth period (195 d) of pepper was 20 d shorter than that of flat planting,the ripening consistency was better,the uniformity of fruit appearance quality was good,the yield was the highest (the equivalent yield reached 20766.67 kg/hm2,which was 22.22% higher than that of flat planting),and the disease resistance performance was the best,which could be further tested and applied in Zunyi area.
