Equivalent Modeling Method for Direct Drive Wind Farm with Load Shedding Control and Virtual Inertia Control

Abstract
To establish an accurate equivalent model of direct drive wind farm with active support capability,an equiva-lent modeling method for direct drive wind farm with load shedding control and virtual inertia control is proposed in thispaper. First,a direct drive wind fan grid-connected system model including load shedding control and virtual inertia control is built. Second,based on the adaptability analysis,the speed,load shedding coefficient,inertia coefficient and damping coefficient are selected as grouping indicators. Third,based on the grouping indicators,the improved K-means algorithm is used to cluster and group the units in the direct drive wind farm,thereby obtaining its equivalent model. Finally,simulations and calculations were conducted using actual examples in different scenarios to verify the accuracy of the proposed equivalent modeling method.关键词
