摘要

Abstract

This paper focuses on the application of Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)in single-beam underwater measurement.The combination of GNSS high-precision positioning ability and single-beam sounding technology improves the measurement accuracy and efficiency,and provides a strong support for underwater terrain mapping.This paper first introduces the positioning principle of GNSS and the working principle of single beam sounding technology/,Then analyses are made on the specific application of the single beam surveying technology in underwater surveying.Thereafter discussions are held on the advantages and limitations of the technique in practical application.In the end,the future development of GNSS single-beam underwater measurement is prospeced.It is believed that this technology will play a greater role in the future and make important contributions to the development of underwater measurement and to the development of marine resources development.
