Abstract
Based on the bulk cargo wharf project in Pantang Terminal of Wuxue Gangtianzhen Port;aiming at the common problems such as difficulty in dring of PHC pipe piles into the thick fine sand layers in inland Yangtze River basin,the cracking in the pile body and the damages of the pile tips,and etc.,taking into account the characteristics of pile driving in the inland Yangtze River basin,a series of studies are performed And a complete set of procedure for PHC pipe driving operation in the river basin was formed through"particular discussion on each individual pile,"and"intermittent re-driving"technology was worked out.The engineering application shows that the percentage of Class Ⅰ piles reaches 100%,which has solved the difficulty of PHC pipe piles driving of pile into the thick sand layer and,and has achieved good social and economic benefits.The technique is applicable and technically advance,and capable to provide theoretical basis and technical support for the construction of similar projects in the future.关键词
