摘要

Abstract

In recent years,the widespread use of antibiotics has led to increasingly serious clinical bacterial resistance issues,which has greatly limited the therapeutic effect of clinical drugs.The antibacterial effect of traditional Chinese medicine has become the focus of current antibacterial research because of its high efficiency,low toxic side effects and anti-drug characteristics.Berberine and cinnamaldehyde are both natural effective ingredients of Chinese herbal medicine,which are extracted from various plants,and have strong antibacterial properties.In medical practice,their negative impacts and side effects are relatively rare.This paper summarizes the antibacterial activity and related mechanisms of berberine and cinnamaldehyde in recent years,as well as the research results on enhancing the antibacterial effect in combination with other drugs,and reviews the latest research progress on the antibacterial activity of berberine and cinnamaldehyde.
