Abstract
Since the operation of the trunk canal of the Mid Route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project,safety monitoring has played an important role in ensuring the safe operation of the project.There are many kinds of trunk canal safety monitoring systems.This paper mainly takes settlement deformation monitoring and seepage monitoring as examples,analyzes the early warning effect of monitoring data on project safety,explains the effectiveness of safety monitoring in the operation of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project,and points out that there still remains certain potential risks in project safety in the long run of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project.In order to enhance the role of safety monitoring in safe operation of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project,it is suggested that the emergency response system of safety monitoring and the long-term mechanism of risk prevention and control of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project should be further improved,so as to promote high-quality development of follow-up projects.关键词
