Abstract
The river where the Sinclair Hydropower Station is located has a high sediment content and a high water head,which has a significant impact on the effective storage capacity of the reservoir and the erosion of the turbines.In view of the prominent sediment problems in the project,the design of the water diversion and sand prevention system of the power station is carried out according to the idea of"flood discharge and sand flushing from the front,water diversion from the side".Through the comprehensive use of the"four lines of defense"of the head hub to reduce silt and discharge sediment,reservoir sediment interception and mechanical dredging,the sediment content entering the pressure pipe can meet the control requirements of the designed sediment content.The design scheme can provide reference for similar projects.关键词
