Abstract
Objective To understand the self-regulation of fatigue in patients with multiple myeloma(MM)undergoing chemotherapy,and to analyze the influencing factors,in order to provide a more refined management strategy for MM patients undergoing chemotherapy in clinical practice.Methods A total of 113 MM patients undergoing chemotherapy were selected using cluster sampling as the study subjects.General information questionnaires,the self-regulation of fatigue scale(SRFS),the Connor-Davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC),the social support rating scale(SSRS),and the acceptance of illness scale(AIS)were used to conduct surveys.Pearson correlation analysis was used to examine the correlation between SRFS scores of MM patients undergoing chemotherapy and their CD-RISC,SSRS,and AIS scores.Multiple Logistic regression analysis was employed to determine the factors influencing self-regulation of fatigue in MM chemotherapy patients.Results The average scores of SRFS,CD-RISC,SSRS,and AIS for 106 MM patients undergoing chemotherapy were(49.1±6.8),(57.3±10.8),(38.4±5.1),and(22.5±5.3)points,respectively.Pearson correlation analysis revealed that SRFS scores were negatively correlated with CD-RISC,SSRS,and AIS scores in MM chemotherapy patients(r=-0.167,-0.339,-0.426,all P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis indicated that educational level,annual family income,level of social support,level of psychological resilience,and acceptance of illness significantly influenced the self-regulation of fatigue in MM patients undergoing chemotherapy(P<0.05).Conclusions The self-regulation of fatigue in MM chemotherapy patients is relatively high and is associated with various factors.It is recommended that individualized intervention strategies be developed in clinical practice to guide patients in building strong social networks,enhancing their psychological resilience and acceptance of illness,in order to reduce their self-regulation of fatigue.关键词
