Abstract

Considering that the buffer roller frame of belt conveyor is prone to structural plastic deformation or even fracture in the process of loading and unloading ore containing large stones,the discrete element software is used to simulate and analyze the operation process,and the state parameters such as the quality,speed,impact angle and impact position of ore impact roller frame can be obtained.The obtained parameters were substituted into the finite element analysis software,and the display dynamics algorithm was provided to analyze the impact process.It was concluded that the damage of the buffer roller frame was mainly related to the impact stress and strain response with high amplitude and high frequency.By controlling the single variables such as impact speed,mass,impact position and rubber hardness of the buffer roller,it was found that the faster the impact speed,the greater the mass,the closer the impact position to the buffer roller frame and the worse the buffer performance,the greater the stress and strain response of the roller frame under impact,and the more prone to deformation or fracture damage.
