Abstract

In order to improve the accuracy of groudwater monitoring data,this paper used the inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry(ICP-OES)to determine the manganese content in groudwater and the uncertainty of the whole analysis process was evaluated,and find out the main factors affecting the manganese content in groudwater.According to the evaluation theory of Evaluation and Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement(JJF1059.1-2012)and the relevant regulations of Uncertainty Evaluation Guidelines in Chemical Analysis(CNAS-GL006-2019),and the mathematical model was established,the main sources of uncertainty were analyzed,each uncertainty component was calculated and synthesized to obtain the extended uncertainty of manganese content in groudwater.The measurement results showed that the content of manganese in groudwater was 0.0396 mg/L,the expanded uncertainty was 0.002 mg/L(k=2),and the result was expressed as 0.0396±0.002 mg/L.The main factors affecting the sample measurement error were the instrument performance,the sample repeatability,the uncertainty of standard solution,the preparation of standard curve and its fitting,of which the preparation of standard solution and itself had the greatest impact and need to be mainly controlled in the monitoring process.This study can provide reference for the uncertainty evaluation of ICP-OES determination of manganese content in groundwater.
