Abstract

Objective:To explore the clinical effect of virtual simulation combined with 3D printing technology assisted minimally percutaneous pedicle screw fixation(PPSF)in the treatment of spinal fracture patients.Methods:Ninety-eight patients with spinal fracture admitted to The First Affiliated People's Hospital of Suzhou University from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to the random number table method,the patients were divided into a control group and an experimental group,with 49 cases in each group.The control group received conventional minimally PPSF treatment,and the experimental group received virtual simulation combined with 3D printing technology assisted minimally PPSF treatment.Operation situation,vertebral recovery,lumbar function,ability of daily living,dysfunction,pain and complications were compared between the two groups.Results:The operative time of the experimental group was shorter than that of the control group,and the amount of intraoperative blood loss and intraoperative fluoroscopy times were less than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Six months after operation,the vertebral anterior margin height of the experimental groups was higher than that of the control group,and the Cobb angle was lower than that of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05);the Japanese Orthopaedic Association lumbar function score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the Barthel Index score of the experimental groups was higher than that of the control group,and the Oswestry Disability Index was lower than that of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).On the 1st and 7th day after operation,the pain Visua Analogue Scale scores of the experimental groups were lower than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The complication rate of the experimental group was 4.08%,which was higher than 2.04%of the control group,but there was no statistically significant between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Virtual simulation combined with 3D printing technology assisted minimally.PPSF in the treatment of spinal fracture patients is more effective,can reduce surgical trauma,accelerate the speed of vertebral recovery,enhance the function of lumbar spine,and is safe and reliable.
