Advancements in investigating the brain network connectivity mechanisms of acupuncture intervention for depression disorder
摘要
Abstract
Depression has become a prevalent mental health issue globally,posing significant challenges to pub-lic health management.Research has revealed distinctive patterns of brain network connectivity in individuals with depression,which has emerged as a crucial focal point in the treatment of depression.Acupuncture,recommended as a non-pharmacological treatment modality in the"Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Depression",has been preliminarily shown to effectively alleviate depressive symptoms.This paper reviews the brain network connectivity mechanisms of depression and the latest research findings on acupuncture intervention,aiming to provide abundant scientific evidence and new research directions for exploring the potential mechanisms of acupuncture in treating depression.关键词
