AN APPLICATION STUDY OF HMONG BUTTERFLY MOTHER DESIGN BASED ON SHAPE GRAMMAR

Abstract
The aim is to explore effective ways to integrate the traditional patterns of the Hmong butterfly mothers into modern design in order to enhance the cultural heritage,demonstrate its unique aesthetic value,and promote the protection and innovative application of intangible cultural heritage.Four main methods were used,namely literature research,numerical research,shape grammar analysis and designed experiment,to ensure the comprehensiveness and accuracy of the study.Experiments show that the use of shape grammar to generate diverse Mama Butterfly patterns preserves traditional cultural elements and incorporates modern designs.The shape grammar highlights the dynamic beauty and curvilinear complexity of the patterns,which is practical.The study validates the effectiveness of shape grammar in the design of Hmong butterfly mothers,generates diverse patterns that can be applied in multiple fields,and promotes the modern application of traditional cultural elements.关键词
