摘要

Abstract

In the context of the digital transformation era,this research is premised on the use of immersive media technologies to explore the development and the innovative strategies of immersive experience design for Chinese ancient murals.The research examines the types of technology,operational environments,and interaction paradigms during the digital transformation era through literature review.It analyzes the application and characteristics of immersive technologies in the dissemination of cultural heritage via online surveys.Additionally,by analyzing digitalization cases of ancient murals,the study summarizes the types of experiences preferred by audiences.The study has identified three key design innovation strategies for the immersive experience of ancient murals by aligning the special presentational attributes of the murals with the current experiential design trends in immersive technology.It is found that the rapid development of immersive technologies is a major catalyst for the new and unique means of dissemination of ancient murals.The study's inferences and results have a formative role in the field of immersive design,especially in the use of new-age media for the experiential re-creation of cultural heritage in the age of digital transformation.The work also serves as an important reference for the development of the next generation of designers and the general upscaling of the field of digital heritage and other such data-driven design industries.
