Prevalence and influencing factors of subjective cognitive decline among community-dwelling elderly
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the prevalence and influencing factors of subjective cognitive decline(SCD)among community-dwelling elderly. Methods A total of 961 residents aged ≥60 years undergoing health check-up in Xincheng Community Health Service Center of Shanghai Jiading District from January 2022 to December 2022 were enrolled in the study. The cognition status was avaluated with subjective cognitive decline questionnaire 9(SCD-Q9).The influencing factors of SCD were examined with univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis. Results Among 961 subjects,902 completed the survey, including 373 males and 529 females,SCD was detected in 190 cases with a prevalence rate of 21.1% .Univariate Logistic regression analysis showed that sex, age, education background, years of education, uric acid, hemoglobin, diabetes, coronary heart disease, body water content,fat-free body weight, basal metabolism, inorganic salt contents, muscle mass, protein mass, and frailty were significantly correlated with SCD(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that years of education(OR=0.894,95% CI:0.850-0.939,P<0.001)was an independent protective factor for SCD,female sex(OR=1.455,95% CI:1.015-2.086,P=0.041)and frailty(OR=2.639,95% CI:1.964-3.546,P<0.001)were independent risk factors for SCD.Conclusion The prevalence rate of SCD was 21.1% among the community-dwelling elderly of the study site;female sex and frailty are risk factors for SCD,while years of education is a protective factor.关键词
