Abstract
The conflicts between supply and demand of timber resources are currently prominent.Abundant bamboo resources and increasingly improved bamboo processing technology in China provide a good foundation for the sustainable development of bamboo glulam.Promoting the use of bamboo glulam in household products can fully utilize bamboo resources to alleviate the problem of wood supply shortage.However,the weight of bamboo glulam is one of the important factors restricting their application.This paper analyzes the structure and performance of bamboo glulam,as well as the limitations of its application in household products,and then summarizes the methods of its lightweight design.With the hollow-core board as the reference,the paper discusses the design of the clad core layer structure of bamboo glulam.By adopting hollow-core layer structure to reduce the weight,bamboo glulam can be more widely used in household products.This study provides innovative ideas and methods for the design of household products with bamboo glulam as materials.关键词
