The Aim of This Study is to Investigate the Impact of Acupoint Therapy on Restless Legs Syndrome And Sleep Quality in Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients

Abstract
Objective:To observe and analyze the effect of acupuncture with pointer on restless legs syndrome and sleep quality in maintenance hemodialysis patients.Methods:From January 2022 to December 2023,85 patients who received maintenance hemodialysis treatment in Jianhu Clinical Medical College of Yangzhou University and Blood Purification Center of jianhu county People's Hospital were randomly divided into control group and observa-tion group by computer.42 cases in the control group were given routine hemodialysis care;In the observation group,43 cases were given acupuncture with pointer on this basis.The severity of restless legs、quality of life and sleep quality were compared between the two groups.Results:Before the intervention,the scores of IRLS、RLSQoL and PQSI in the two groups were compared,P>0.05;After intervention,the scores of IRLS、RLSQoL and PQSI in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,P<0.05.Conclusion:Acupoint thera-py for maintenance hemodialysis patients can effectively improve their restless leg syndrome and help to improve their quality of life and sleep.关键词
