Abstract
1936 was an important year in the history of the CPC.The Central Red Army carried out the Eastern Expedition and the Western Expedition successively.The three main forces of the Red Army met in Gansu and Ningxia.The Anti-Japanese National United Front was initially formed,and the Red Army won in the Battle of Shanchengbao.Huanxian County played an important role in these events.Shortly af-ter the start of the Western Expedition in June,the CPC proposed to build the new Soviet area centered on Hongdecheng,Huanxian County,into the"center of gravity of the western base areas".After the es-tablishment of Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Province,the provincial committee of the CPC and government relocated to Helianwan Village,Hongde Town,Huanxian County today,making Helianwan Village the hub of the new Soviet area and playing the role of the"center of gravity of the western base areas".In October,after the First,Second,and Fourth Front Army of the Chinese Workers'and Peasants'Red Army met in Huining and Jiangtaibao respectively,they continued their strategic transfer,which fully demon-strated that the Long March of the Red Army was still ongoing.In late November,the three front armies of the Red Army cooperated with each other to win in the Battle of Shanchengbao.The victory marked the end of the Red Army's Long March.The Shanchengbao should be the end of the Red Army's Long March.关键词
