Abstract
Hyaluronic acid(HA),a non-sulfated glycosaminoglycan macromolecule,is one of the main components of the extracellular matrix.Due to its unique molecular structure and biological activity,HA has been used in a wide range of applications for more than 30 years.The molecular properties of HA and its derivatives,including different cellular,moisturizing,and anti-aging effects of different molecular weight ranges,as well as CD44 targeting,make them a popular kind of raw materials for tissue engineering,wound healing,cancer therapy,ophthalmology,and cosmetics.In recent years,HA and its derivatives have played an increasingly important role in the biomedical field.This review focuses on recent studies on functionalized HA in wound healing materials,cartilage repair materials,drug carriers,ophthalmic materials,cancer treatment and cosmetics.Smart materials,such as HA multifunctional coatings,targeted nanoparticles,and injectable hydrogels,have shown great application prospects in cutting-edge biomedical fields.关键词
