摘要

Abstract

The thermal desorption-gas chromatography-olfactometry-mass spectrometry(TD-GC-O-MS)technique and sensory evaluation were utilized to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the odorants in the volatile organic compounds(VOCs)of medical polyvinyl chloride(PVC)resin.This paper also performed a preliminary analysis through the headspace desorption-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry technique to optimize heating temperature and time for the best release of VOCs.Besides,the paper selected a polarity column using the highly sensitive TD-GC-O-MS to improve the separation and detection of VOCs,thus realizing the qualitative and quantitative detection of low-concentration odorants.In this way,alkane compounds,isooctanol,butyl acrylate,acetic acid,styrene,and nonanal were identified as the main odor sources of PVC resin.The sources of odorants were traced back to provide guidance for the improvement of the low-odor PVC production process.Through sensory evaluation,the odor of PVC resin was significantly reduced after process optimization.
