Nonlinear Environmental Effects and Spatial Spillover Effects of China's Provincial Digital Economy Development
摘要
Abstract
Based on the panel data of 31 provinces from 2014 to 2021,this paper empirically examines the nonlinear environ-mental and spatial effects of digital economy development by using threshold regression model and spatial panel model.The re-sults are shown as the following:The development of digital economy can significantly improve environmental pollution,and main-ly reduce pollution emissions by achieving digital transformation of high pollution and high energy consuming industries through integration with the secondary industry.The improvement of environmental pollution caused by the development of digital econo-my has a threshold effect on industrial agglomeration,industrial structure and population scale.There is a lag in the improvement effect of the digital economy on environmental pollution in this province.The development of digital economy in neighboring prov-inces has a spatial spillover effect on environmental pollution improvement in this province in the same way,and absorbing the spillover of digital economy in neighboring provinces is more conducive to promoting the improvement of environmental pollution in this province.关键词
