Regional Differences,Dynamic Evolution and Spatial Convergence Test of Local Fiscal Efficiency
摘要
Abstract
This paper is based on the super efficiency EBM model to measure the fiscal efficiency of China's eight compre-hensive economic regions,then uses the Dagum Gini coefficient decomposition method to measure the regional differences of fiscal efficiency,and the Markov chain method to depict the dynamic evolution of fiscal efficiency.Finally,the paper employs the coeffi-cient of variation and spatial econometric model to measure the σ convergence,absolute β convergence and conditional β con-vergence characteristics of regional fiscal efficiency.The study results are shown as below:During the observation period,the aver-age value of China's overall fiscal efficiency shows a downward trend of fluctuation,and it is difficult for inefficient regions to leap up,with the characteristics of"high in the eastern coastal areas and low in the central and western regions".The regional differ-ences in the fiscal efficiency of the eight comprehensive economic regions are the main source of the overall difference.The fiscal efficiency of the northeast,the southern coast,the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and the Great Northwest Economic Zone has certain σ convergence characteristics,while the fiscal efficiency of the whole country and the eight comprehensive economic zones does not have absolute β convergence and conditional β convergence characteristics,and the regional difference of fiscal efficiency has an obvious trend of enlarging.关键词
